Keep Your Sites Fresh

Are You Keeping Your Sites Fresh? You need to tickle them to keep them on top of Google!

It can be a full time job working on a web site if you want it to be – but the reality is – if you’ve been following the training at Blogging Underground you could be building several or even lots of simple little sites that each bring you in good targeted traffic from top rankings on Google!

While not as demanding as some sites might be – it still pays to keep your highest performing sites fresh with new content and new links coming in! This will pay off big and keep you at the top for your target keywords AND bring you lots of unexpected traffic from related keywords too!

How do you do it?

Keep tickling your sites by adding new pages to your WordPress blogs with short concise targeted articles when possible, and also regularly add short “announcement” blog posts with links to your articles as well as newsy stuff too so that Google sees your site is fresh!

You don’t need to tickle your sites a lot – but you don’t want your site to go stale.

Blog posts are perfect for this and show new stuff is being added without harming the reputation of the home page and other article pages that are getting good rankings.

PLR Articles from quality sources like Article Underground are fast and easy to use and are better than garbage spun content which will degrade the quality of your blogs.

Whenever you add new content – make sure that you also get a few links in the Blogging Underground announcement blog network. Posting in the Blogging Underground blog network will help keep some powerful and relevant link juice coming in to your site so you stay on top of the search engines and snag lots of targeted traffic!

I am new here and have found your article helpful to remind me about the things that need doing to my websites. It is very easy to get distracted by all the IM training opportunities coming at me and I forget to do the things I am learning that need to be done! I gather that this is a huge obstacle for many of us learning about IM.

This is a great reminder. I was so focus on buildng new blogs that I neglected the freshness of my existing sites. There should really be a balance between keeping the site fresh and building the VRE empire.

I have seen my rankings rise and subsequent traffic after posting new content and back linking them using Blogging Underground numerous times. Using Blogging Underground I have had a few of my older sites retain their ranking as well.
